Surprisingly, the new teaser actually avoided the trend of some of the other big releases, preferring mostly new footage and treating the big game slot as an opportunity to release a second trailer rather than just a tighter, recut promo.
And in that new material, the new Indominus Rex is the obvious star: it's still very much a teasing angle, with limited glimpses of the beast, but putting them all together paints a fairly rounded image of the scourge of Jurassic World. It's big, it's not limited by the T-Rex's traditional problems (with vision and reach) and it's clearly fairly impervious to conventional weapons. All round, you really have to applaud the idiots who made a theme park ride out of the ultimate killing machine.
There's also a lot more focus on Chris Pratt's Owen, and the confirmation that he definitely is a Dino Whisperer, using his team of super Raptors for the good of the company. That will be a very definite sticking point for a lot of people - especially considering how poorly the Raptor communication sub-plot went down in Jurassic Park 3 - but it should lead to a good pay-off when the Raptor attack team are in full flow.
So, with the new trailer out and gestating in fans' minds, it's time to breakdown the key details and images...
