While we've seen a fair bit of Justice League thanks to the trailers, there's one big element we've not yet had a real glimpse of: its main villain.

Steppenwolf, the uncle of Darkseid, is set to be the primary antagonist of the movie, with Game of Thrones' CiarĂ¡n Hinds taking on the role. However, he's largely been hidden away, but now a new toy has unveiled what we can expect the character to look like, which comes via Batman-News.

It's an interesting take: the more human design elements have been kept, with updates to fit more in with the world Zack Snyder has created, His helmet, one of the most signature elements, is also included. He also looks a lot bigger than Batman, which suggests this will be a towering performance from Hinds in more ways than one.

It's a marked change from the version initially conceived for Batman v Superman (which was far more alien looking), and while Hinds' performance is still motion capture, it should allow him to shine through more.

Steppenwolf is coming to Earth at the behest of Darkseid, sent as the leader of the army of Apokolips to retrieve the Mother Boxes which have been hidden away across the planet.
