Never one to miss a trick, after gracing us with something nobody asked for or cares about last year, Justin Bieber's Never Say Never, in a format which nobody asked for nor cares about, 3D, Hollywood is bringing another pop singer tour film...in 3D. However this time with Katy Perry. After winning the £7.50 of teenage girls last year they're looking to win the £7.50s of teenage girls, teenage boys and the creepy uncles that families prefer to not talk about. This, ladies and gentlement, is Katy Perry: Part of Me, a tour and life diary of the last year and a half, and here is it's trailer:So what is there to say, other than WHY? Why is this here? Choosing to throw down the throats the live tour of an artist so extensive that the only reason you didn't see her live in the first place is you simply didn't want to? Inspired stuff there Hollywood, truly brilliant. The trailer merely makes you believe that this is going to be an hour and a half of Katy Perry's touring staff telling you she's marvellous, which anyone with eyes can see, and anyone with knowledge of her live shows can tell you she isn't. Also hints that they cover the issue of Katy Perry's divorce is not only a Kardashian-esque style of story telling (and enough to put you off ever going near this) but makes you believe that this is going to be nothing more than a side winning push for 'Team Katy' T-Shirt sales to sky rocket. Hopefully it won't be, but I personally want to save the money and never ever find out.
