MCU: 30 Actors Who Could Have Starred In Avengers: Infinity War
So close, yet so far.
Avengers: Infinity War is not only the most ambitious superhero movie ever made, it's also the most star-studded blockbuster of all time. However, that incredible roster of talent could've been so different.
Superhero roles are some of the most coveted and sought-after in Hollywood, and when they can lead to both a lucrative franchise and a starring role in a huge movie such as Infinity War, it's not at all surprising.
While it's tough to imagine anyone else playing many of the MCU's most iconic roles, the actors that eventually won the parts weren't always sure bets, and in some cases they even had to battle fierce competition to finally nab the role.
If things worked out otherwise, the MCU could look very different today, and Infinity War wouldn't be quite the same movie we know it as.
While some of these almost-casting choices certainly would have worked, others are most definitely a bullet dodged, and for the most part, it's hard to be mad with the actors we ended up with.
Still, if fate worked a little differently, these 30 actors could've been headlining the biggest superhero movie ever...
