New Cast For Suicide Squad Includes Killer Croc And Steve Trevor

This ain't gonna be your Chris Nolan DC Universe.

There are going to be a lot of characters locked up in prison in David Ayer's Suicide Squad movie, and from the looks of things, many of them are going to be pulled from the pages of DC comic books. This thing's going to have more cameos than Anchorman 2. One of the more interesting characters is Waylon Jones, who The Wrap say will be played by Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje. Except they don't, quite. They insist on calling him Killer Croc, which suggests either they're gaming the SEO or he's going to have transformed already in the film. The portrayal of The Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man will be a pretty low hurdle for Killer Croc to leap, so I hope this doesn't go wrong. Meanwhile, Latino Review say that Scott Eastwood will pop up in the same film as Steve Trevor, regular Wonder Woman love interest. What he'll be doing isn't at all clear, but it won't be a lot, and then we'll have to wait for Wonder Woman's own movie to see him in full effect. More in keeping with the Killer Croc casting is word that King Shark is also in the film, and he'll be motion captured by Raymond Olubowale. So, in the new DC movie universe, Killer Croc and King Shark are real, and they require motion capture. This ain't Nolan. Suicide Squad shoots into this summer for a US release date of August 5th, 2016.
