New ZOOLANDER 2 Plot Details Revealed

“The story will pick up 10 years after the first film left off and, Derek’s 'School For Kids Who Can’t Read Good' has been destroyed, leaving him in charge of its pupil.”

Its been ten years since Derek Zoolander first graced the world with Blue Steel, but now everyone's favourite idiot model is back. While promoting his new film Tower Heist, Ben Stiller has been teasing us with new plot details from the highly anticipated Zoolander sequel. Stiller spoke to Empire early in the year about the plot,

"Its ten years later and most of it is set inEurope. I dont want to give away too much, but its basically Derek and Hansel ten years later though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and theyre not really relevant anymore. Its a new world for them."

Also fans of Will Ferrell needn't worry, Mugatu is back too,

"Will Ferrell is written into the script and hes expressed interest in doing it. I think Mugatu is an integral part of the Zoolander story, so yes, he features in a big way.

Now taking to THR Stiller revealed,

Stiller says hes very proud of the script, which he wrote with Justin Theroux, co-writer of Tropic Thunder. The sequel has been in development for a while now and almost didn't happen with Stiller walking away from the project, apparently the studio even tried to go ahead with out him (?). There is no doubt that there is an audience dying to see more of Derek Zoolander especially if the response to the characters appearance on SNL recently is anything to go by.
