Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores For Every Upcoming Marvel Movie

Will Marvel's winning streak finally run out?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is showing no signs of slowing down, and with the colossal box office receipts and consistently solid reviews, why the hell would it?

While the first two phases of the MCU featured "only" six movies apiece, Phase Three will contain at least 10 films that we know of so far, and of course, it's not like Tony Stark and his cohorts will simply be closing up shop there: this thing's going to keep going until the bubble eventually bursts.

Though it seems like Marvel can't put a foot wrong with critics (certainly compared to Warner Bros. and DC, who can't seem to do much right), it's fair to say that Phase Three sees them introducing a number of their riskiest projects to date.

Will the new heroes take to the MCU like ducks to water, or are a plethora of Rotten ratings merely waiting in the midst?

Here are our critical predictions for every upcoming Marvel movie...

10. Doctor Strange (71%)

Predicted Critical Consensus: "Benedict Cumerbatch and a strong supporting cast bring magic to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with solid success, even if Doctor Strange's middling plot can't quite match its outstanding visuals."

While it's reasonable to be a little skeptical of director Scott Derrickson (The Day the Earth Stood Still, Sinister) helming something so much more expensive than anything he's worked on before, Marvel have had a tremendous amount of success so far nurturing lower-profile directors into the tentpole arena.

Plus, what's been shown off so far suggests it's going to be one of the most aesthetically interesting Marvel movies to date, and Cumberbatch is one of the most reliable A-listers working today, so it's hard to imagine the film being less than solid even if the script is perhaps a little more uneven (it's been written by Derrickson and his frequent collaborator C. Robert Cargill).

And then there's the fact that actors like Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams and Mads Mikkelsen round out the cast. What's not to like?
