Reign Over Me helmer Mike Binder will direct Julia Roberts in The Friday Knitting Club. The movie is an adaptation of a Kate Jacobs novel of the same name that follows a single mum who struggles to juggle the demands of a knitting store with raising her teenage daughter. Amy Adams and Francis McDormand will star together in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. The romantic period drama set in 1939 will begin filming in the U.K. this week, shot by helmer Bharat Nalluri for Focus Features.
