Robocop Reboot: "We're Going To See The Eyes"

New Robocop star Joel Kinnaman gives us all a hint at what the Robocop Reboot redesign is going to involve.

Newly cast Alex Murphy, Joel Kinnaman has been speaking to MTV about the approach to Jose Padilha's Robocop Reboot.
"There's a lot of neuroscience now raising the question, 'Is all the intelligence in the human body in the brain?'" "...and they€™re finding out that, no, it€™s not like that. The body has intelligence itself, and we€™re much more of an organic creature in that way. It's not a control tower that does everything."
All very interesting but in addition, Kinnaman also went on to giving some insight into a rather big change to the reboot design;
"They€™re still working on the suit and how it€™s going to look, but the visor is going to be see-through," "You€™re going to see his eyes... It's not going to be jaw action."

I don't know about you guys but I consider Robocop a perfect movie. For what it is and what it's trying to do I can't think of anything that would improve it. The design of Robocop is so iconic and because of its impact back in the eighties (and indeed since), the idea that this is going to be a total make over makes me worry that accepting this reboot as a worthy re-imagining might be hard. With this first hint at what's to come, my first instinct tells me this new Robocop is going to more Sonny from I,Robot that good old chunky Robocop.

What's everyone else's thoughts? Can you think of any new features Robocop needs? Do you want to see this design changed at all? How computer generated is this going to end up being? (yuck).

Off the top of my head the only improvement I could go with, is maybe some cushioned soles so we don't hear Robocop coming from about fifty miles away. Other than that, please Jose Padilha don't mix it up too much (and please, please don't consider changing the gun).
