SDCC: THE MUPPETS are Pixar-lated?
If God existed, he would make every single Disney film go through the process of a table read with the principal figures at Pixar.
If God existed, he would make sure every forthcoming Disney film would go through the table read process with the principal figures at Pixar. That way, we wouldn't have to suffer anymore Prince of Persia's and The Sorcerer's Apprentice's, and maybe promising franchises wouldn't be D.O.A. at The Mouse. Per THR;

Principals involved with Disney's upcoming live-action pic toplining Jason Segel flew to Pixar headquarters in Emeryville, Calif., on Wednesday for a table read of the project with the animation powerhouse.
Some of the members of the so-called "Pixar Brain Trust" -- filmmakers John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Docter, Andrew Stanton, Michael Arndt, Bob Peterson and president Ed Catmull -- were there for the consultations. Docter is a particularly avid Muppets fan, so he almost certainly was one of the attendees. On the Disney side, Muppets director James Bobin and producers David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman were likely in the room along with Segel. Neither Pixar nor Disney would comment.As well as consistently delivering the best films year in, year out - Pixar seemingly have setup a script agony aunt agency on the side! We've recently heard they were instrumental in helping Disney figure out the emotional strands and characterization on Tron Legacy. Apparently under the new regime of Rich Ross and Sean Bailey - we can expect more Disney projects to be sent to Pixar during the pre-production process after they were shocked by the state of the movies greenlit by their predecessor. Don't know about you but after they canned a 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea remake and a Wild Hogs sequel last year - and now suggesting Pixar's involvement in the script writing stage of future movies - well, I'm starting to like these guys.
