Captain America: Civil War is just a couple of weeks away, and Marvel are really gearing up for a last minute promotional push. The film, as well as bringing together a number of existing heroes, will also introduce two new characters who'll be the subject of their own standalone films in the next year or two.

A lot of the focus has been on Spider-Man, given his *homecoming* to Marvel, but equally as exciting is the presence of Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman.

Based on the trailers, at least, he looks like being another great addition to the MCU, evidenced by the way he chases down a motocycle-riding Bucky, and has a suit that is at once effortlessly cool and completely badass.

Now, thanks to some new concept art revealed in theCaptain America 75th Anniversary Magazine, we can get a better look at the suit Black Panther will be wearing in Civil War. Aside from showing off the costume, both with and without the mask, concept artist Ryan Meinerding also gave some insight into the look:

€œThe overall concept is that it€™s a woven suit €“ on a more granular level, there is Vibranium woven into the fabric. This Vibranium thread would provide a silver sheen so that when it catches the light, it would glisten a bit. From there we tried to create a design language for patterns to fit very subtly into the hard Vibranium pieces that are woven through the suit.€

The idea of his suit being made with Vibranium - the same material that Captain America's shield is made from, and something found in Panther's home country Wakanda - makes a lot of sense, and throws up some exciting possibilities for just what he'll be capable of, especially when he gets to go head-to-head with Cap.
