The two final trailers for the movie have just dropped, one aimed at American audiences and the other at the ever-vague "international" crowd, and together, they both provide greater insight into the tone the movie's shooting for, and why the villainous Vulture is coming after Peter Parker.

As with just about any superhero movie trailer these days, it's packed to the gills with easily missed Easter eggs and hidden info, making it pretty clear that a) this is going to be an incredibly nerdy movie and b) it's a passionate love-letter to the classic comic book iteration of the character.

15. Howard Stark's "Cameo"

Amusingly, during the shot of Peter walking through the hallway of his high school, Howard Stark's youthful-ish face can be seen plastered on a mural in the background, next to a rocket ship.

Presumably it's celebrating his pioneering scientific work throughout the years, and whether or not attention is actually drawn to it in the final movie (probably not), it's an awesome nod to the wider history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Peter's connection to and admiration for the Stark family.

Get ready to scan the full mural when the film comes out, because you shouldn't put it past Marvel to include some other familiar faces in the scene somewhere.
