Although the Spidey-sense if tingling for the release for Venom this week, the world of web-slingers is about to get even better this December with the animated Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, the movie comes from the genius minds of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, marking their big return to the animation game (and movies in general) after going off to direct and then not-direct Solo.

The new trailer (which you can check out below) gives us our best look yet at the movie, and it's really quite something. Centring on Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore) but bringing together a number of different Spider-Men, -Women, and even animals, the latest tease promises the best non-MCU Spider-Man movie in well over a decade (and there are even a few nods to Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies for good measure).

Ballsy, funny, and utterly gorgeous to look at, there's a lot to love about that latest trailer, which more than builds the hype, although there's also one problem Sony trailers - especially Spider-Man ones - have been guilty of many, many times before.
