https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNz-AleTgkM Stan Lee's cameos are as much an important part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as anything else. Granted, he's not swinging Mjolnir, or closing a portal to space while legions of Chitauri pour out in an attempt to kill us all, but seeing his face pop up out of nowhere is certainly a highlight of each film - especially for those that are heavily invested in the comics and Marvel as a whole. Of course, the Stan Lee cameo is nothing new. It actually outdates the MCU by almost 20 years. While he narrated The Incredible Hulk animated series in the 1980s, his first real surprise cameo in the Marvel universe was in the 1989 live action made for TV Movie - The Trial Of The Incredible Hulk, in which he played a Jury foreman. He went on to appear as himself in the final episode of Spider-Man: The Animated Series, played a shocked Hot Dog vendor in X-Men (2000), saved a young girl's life in Spider-Man (2002) (and in a deleted scene, sells Peter Parker a pair of Sunglasses) and then went on to appear in almost every Marvel release since. The guy shows up all over the place, and at the ripe old age of 92, with the MCU in full effect, and a whopping 24 Marvel film appearances under his belt, he doesn't appear to be planning on slowing down any time soon.
