Bring him Solo and the Wookiee!

We've heard more about the Han Solo movie in the last week than in all the previous months of filming combined.

Hollywood was stunned when Lucasfilm fired directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller from the project, two years after they were hired and months into filming.

Ron Howard was quickly drafted in as their replacement, and the fallout continues with talk of on-set clashes, and star Alden Ehrenreich needing an acting coach.

It's quite nice, then, to have some news not related to that troubled production, but instead what's actually going to be in the movie.

According to The Hashtag Show, Jabba the Hutt has a crucial role to play in the movie, and that's not likely to change under Howard. The character, who first appeared in Return of the Jedi before being shoehorned into the special edition of A New Hope, will reportedly be a mix of CGI and animatronics.

It does make sense for the character to appear, given he has a long history with Solo, and it's reassuring that he will be at least partly practical, rather than fully CG.

Hopefully this is just the first sign of the movie getting back on track, and a more straightforward production from here until release, with is still currently scheduled for May 25, 2018.
