The guys over at io9 have spotted some some great concept art for The Amazing Spider-Man, granting us the opportunity of delving deeper into the film's visuals. The majority of the images were sent to them by concept artist George Hull (who also worked on the less amazing movie Battleship). Hull designed the exterior of the Oscorp Building and the interiors such as the area where Peter encounters the spider that forever changes his life as well the labs used by Curt Connors. The technical break down on his machinery is particularly eye catching. Hull also had a hand in conceptualizing the battle between Spidey and The Lizard atop the Oscorp for the film's finale. Also floating around the net are some early costume concepts for the Spidey costume by artist Eddie Yang (who's also worked on both Iron Man movie as well as Man of Steel). Yangs designs are all similar to the final version but show some distinctly different directions that the costume could have taken. The images showcase some of the careful work that went into giving this film the right look. So if you're a fan of behind the scenes art for movies, head over to the websites for Hull and Yang so that you can see even more eye candy.
