No Marvel movie these days can come and go without an avalanche of rumours and fan theories about who will live, who will die, and what exactly will take place during the now-arbitrary credits scenes.
There's not a movie franchise on a planet that gets people talking quite like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and before a new film even begins shooting, there are dozens of theories online, from tin-foil hat-wearing nuttiness to so plausible you wonder whether it was surreptitiously leaked by an insider (and in some cases, it was).
Though many of the rumours and theories did in fact end up being true, these 13 leaks and murmurs were in fact complete bunk, either a fabrication of wishful thinking or false information intentionally fielded out to plug a leak in the Marvel ship.
