So the second trailer for Thor ramps up the silly and the camp factor of the first and adds in a bunch of elaborate CGI sequences and Marvel & Paramount seem to be doing their best to promote four or five different films in one, the most curious being the cute girls find a physically perfect and cut weirdo... but hey, at least it looks entertaining. I'm not expecting much from Thor and in all honesty I haven't been since the day Kenneth Branagh was hired to direct but there's plenty of hammer time, plenty of monsters (though it's hardly Hellboy) and at least the desire to exist as something different and comic book-y, instead of the lame Green Lantern trailer. Hey, I'm the dude who loves Masters of the Universe (the film) and it seems to be playing in the same pool as that... so I suppose I'm in for it. Thor opens April 29th (UK) and May 6th (U.S.)
