Dreamworks has unleashed this haunting image of Optimus Prime glaring down at us mere humans along with the year we can expect Michael Bays final (?) Transformers film to hit cinemas. Not much has been revealed about the impending fourth film, not even the films title or who will lead now that Shia LaBeouf has decided he has made enough money from the trilogy to date to turn down a lucrative fourth roll of the dice. We half suspect he might decide to comeback for a fourth or five movie when he misses the cash but all that is known is that Bay promises a new cast, new designs and may center more on the robots than the humans. We suspect Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will return as the damsel in distress and there has been rumours her real life fella Jason Statham might be the new franchise lead with the franchise taking on a more adult orientated, bad-ass direction. That certainly seems to be a wise move considering the audience for the original film has now aged from teenager to early adult. You can see the full image of the teaser poster below... Transformers 4 is due to open June 27, 2014 with Bay directing from an Ehren Kruger (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) on script. Filming is due to begin later this year. Let the speculations fly. Which robots will we see? Which major city will get trampled? Which human characters will be replaced? Leave your comments below.
