Twitter AVATAR reactions...

The unanimous reaction is that the film is spectacularly awesome.

... are unbelievably positive, way more so than any of us could have ever expected after such a big black cloud hovered over the James Cameron epic ever since that infamous trailer kinda sucked the air of frenzied expectation out of the film. I just wonder if the over-hyped worldwide spectacle of a premiere, which it has to be noted has been kind to many fanboy critics in terms of access and catering (hell, we were there for a start!), helped sway them and those other guys and gals in attendance to feel an extra bit of affinity towards a picture they previously took so much joy into scorning - or am I being overly cynical and this is the real deal and the second coming as some make it out to be?

Picture of the cast and crew of Avatar, in attendance for the long awaited world premiere of probably, the most expensive movie of all time. I expect some clearer heads to prevail once the hangover is over tomorrow, and some serious words are scribed about this film. All talk now is pretty worthless, though I would say that 20th Century Fox would be wise to scrap the embargo on this movie because if these kind of breaking the dam reviews come in over the weekend then the floodgates of positive hype will take over and Fox's chances of seeing a return on their $300 million will improve ten-fold. For clarification purposes, OWF are embargoed until Monday but if other sites similar to others put together a full blown out review, then I guess it's only fair we do the same, though you should note we won't be first in conducting this kind of practice. But the best Twittering, comes from Collider's Steve Frosty at the World Premiere in London, who goes in full detail of the night he had (including the refreshments served, the after show party, his brief talk with 20th Century Fox head Tom Rothman about the future of his owned superhero properties), but bizarrely he doesn't even give a twitter reaction to the movie itself.
