Vin Still Talking Up Third Chronicle, Riddick-ulous!
"So the director of Riddick, my partner on COR since the beginning, DT... has a new challenge in store. He wants me to have 3 different body looks for this next chapter... There is the DiNorscio type, the Dom type, and the lean Furyan type... but all in the same movie, haha... When it comes to art, we all like a challenge." P.s. We will hit Our next Milestone... but, what day?Incase you're wondering who these guys are, he is referring to his character in Find Me Guilty, His Fast and Furious guy and of course the main title character himself, respectively. Of course this isn't the first time we have heard word on the project, indeed ideas have been proposed and concept art released before now;
The third film in the series features Riddick - the most wanted man in the galaxy -- left for dead on a barren alien planet, dealing with "trisons" (three-legged bisons) and "mud demons." He must then contend with two squads of bounty hunters, one of which ride rockets called jetcycles.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Vin seems to be desperately clinging on to his two franchises for dear life and I feel this may actually be to his detriment in the long run. And what of David Twohy? Discounting his two Riddick movies, he has only made two more films this decade, 2002's underrated haunted Submarine movie Below and last years entertaining thriller A Perfect Getaway starring Milla Jovovic, his first feature in 5 years. Have other opportunities not presented themselves, or is he still paying for the overreach that was Chronicles? The only viable future I see for the Riddick character is in video games, for which of course there have been two already.
