Almost four months have passed since Peter Jackson's last video diary update from The Hobbit set. Too long, really! Finally Jackson has posted a fresh production diary, this time focusing mostly on their use of 3D in The Lord of the Rings prequel. The update also takes a gander at what has been filming since the last time we were with Jackson and his crew with plenty of behind-the-scenes footage from the sound stages. There's plenty of shots of Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood (who looks like he hasn't aged a day in ten years) too, which at first is just surreal to see. It's like going back in time a decade. It's another awesome entry and ten minutes of your day well worth being spent with these guys.
