WOW: Early details on THE DARK KNIGHT on DVD & Blu-Ray

By Matt Holmes /

You can now pre-order the year's best film so far, the astonishing THE DARK KNIGHT which has now been given a firm U.K. release of Dec. 8th and an expected release a day later in the U.S. according to Blu-Ray.com. Artwork is being kept under-wraps at the moment, hopefully a nice cover of Heath Ledger in a James Cagney-esque pose is on it's way rather than this fan-made one from the main poster which I was never all that keen on... This looks to be the assembled lot of features, which again sadly does not contain a Chris Nolan commentary, though at least he does go into depth on the extra's for his movies. He did on BATMAN BEGINS anyway...
