Pic tells the story of a man who takes his family on the run when an apocalyptical natural crisis threatens to end civilization; lensing starts in August in Philadelphia.
The R-rated movie budgeted around $57 million should begin shooting in Philadelphia in August. It's a big financial risk from Fox with the way the director's reputation is with audiences right now but with it being R-rated... it should at least be interesting to see what he does with it. Remember he made some great films not all that long ago. I enjoyed Deschanel in Almost Famous but I haven't seen much of her since then. The actress has a role in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford which does look like it will finally be released this September.
