10 Huge Video Game Rumours For 2015 You Need To Know

From Fallout 4 to a new PS4 model - next year is going to be pretty special.

Throughout the year it became increasingly evident thanks to a string of delays that 2015 is going to be one of the most important years for gaming. Not only should it hopefully continue the steam the industry is gathering thanks to notable praiseworthy releases like Shadow of Mordor and The Evil Within, but we're also going to get much-anticipated console-sellers like Batman: Arkham Knight or The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Aside from what's confirmed and laboriously hyped-over though, there's always a string of rumours emerging from an industry that's set to make sure consumers remember precisely why they bought their new consoles in the first place. Like gladiators awaiting combat, two out of three of the big titles across the year (Titanfall and Watch Dogs) emerged to what they thought would be swathes of rapturous fans, only to have all manner of things thrown at them out of disgust instead. Bungie's prowess with the shooting genre managed to keep Destiny relatively above this sort of thing, but it's not as if figureheads aren't aware of how many consoles have been sold versus how much backlash their bigger titles have been receiving. Thus we're seeing all manner of tantalising tidbits and reveal-hints drip out across the internet, ensuring 2015 will be the year we thought 2014 was going to be, and if just one of these happens to come true everything should slip right back on track.
