Currently, the gaming world awaits further details on the next title in the series, and Vice City is the leading rumoured location. It is easy to see why many would love to see it again, with this GTA still being one of the most popular of all time.

Vice City had so many elements to it that made it memorable: Great gameplay, visually a step up on its predecessor and one of the most memorable gaming soundtracks.

However, it was the main story that was the highlight as you took on the role of Tommy Vercetti trying to take over the city. The missions offered a huge variety of gameplay, from typical GTA style to stealing tanks and driving ice cream trucks.

Out of all the brilliant missions on offer, here are the most iconic.

10. Keep Your Friends Close… – Tommy Vercetti

We start at the end with the final mission. Tommy has to fight to keep control of his mansion, as well as tie up his problems with the main two villians of the game Lance and Sonny.

Throughout the game Tommy is building up his empire and at this point he has control of Vice City.

The mission itself is potentially a frustrating one where armour and high powered weapons are a must. Despite this, it is still a great way to finish the story. From the start you face a large volume of enemies, which alongside having to tackle two bosses means there are plenty of opportunities for you to die. Sonny takes a lot of health to finish off and a manual shooting weapon is your best bet, but once you taken him down the story is done!

Health and armour can be found in the mansion if needed during the mission, but you are likely to be surrounded by enemies when trying to grab them! A brilliant way to finish this classic game, even if the hero doesn’t end up dead in the fountain!
