10 Strongest Weapons In The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Which weapons are worth it, and which ones are too good to be true?

Breath of the Wild came out three years ago, yet people are still discovering and re-discovering it to this day. One of the things which makes the game so memorable is its combat system. While keeping the attacking foundation found in just about every Zelda game, Breath of the Wild give it new life, diversifying each attack based on what you’re wielding.

This can lead to new tactics and new discoveries as players find out if a sword will be their saviour or if they should have used a spear to survive the onslaught.

While the Master Sword is no doubt the most iconic item in the franchise, it isn't necessarily the best. With an incredible range of unique armaments to weild, it's important to figure out which parts of your arsenal are worth having and which ones promise more than they can offer. With initial space for eight melee weapons, five bows and four shields, Breath of the Wild offers players the chance to cycle through their inventory and choose the right thing for the job at hand.

However, this list won't include any amibo items, so unfortunately there'll be no Twilight Bow on this list despite its incredible range.

10. Korok Leaf

Before you ask, no, I'm not joking. It is true that with a base strength of 1, the Korok Leaf is the weakest thing you can fight with in the game. That being said, what it lacks in physical strength, it more than makes up for in utility.

While this huge leaf won’t kill your enemies outright, pushing them away from you and knocking them over then switching to a strong sword or hammer can be a great way to rack up some easy kills. On top of that, you can use it for environmental kills by blowing enemies off mountains or forcing non-swimming foes to have a nice dip in a river.

What’s more, the games physics engine allows you to do some cool and creative stuff with the Korok Leaf. As well as using it to set sail on a raft, you can use it in conjunction with some Octo Balloons to send a deadly surprise to an enemy camp.

The utility of this item makes it a must-have, as players without will quickly start to notice their disadvantage.
