With the development of a Suicide Squad game first hinted at the end of the recent Batman: Arkham Origins (after the credits with an exchange between Amanda Waller and Deathstroke) finally confirmed, we're pretty excited to see how something like this will play out. For a bit of background, the Suicide Squad are a team of DC villains assembled to do work for the government in exchange for shortened sentences; this work includes fighting other baddies, as well as various "suicide" missions deemed far to serious for "conventional" agents to undertake. In the long-established comics we've had the likes of Harley Quinn and Deadshot as regulars. However for the purpose of this article, we've thrown in a few interesting extras - who have every right to be in the Squad - some have already been seen within the Arkham gaming universe as well as some established comic regulars who are yet to featured in a game. Immediately, Suicide Squad seems like it'll be a difficult concept to tackle story-wise. When working with characters as established and complex as Harley Quinn, Deathstroke and Bane for example, as well as developing whole new characters for a wider audience including the recently re-vamped Copperhead, and completely new (to the gaming world) King Shark, the developers must tread carefully, but with the right level of enthusiasm. Interaction will be key, the way this group works together, and against one-another, will be core to the appeal. So, with that in mind, here is our rundown of DC characters that we'd like to see in the forthcoming game. http://youtu.be/4gA8cE-hAis
