15 Hardest Video Game Achievements Of 2017 (So Far)
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was creating multiplayer achievements.
There's something alluring about the hardest of the hard. It shows how skilled you are at a certain game - or simply that your patience level can outlast those around you. You did what was seemingly impossible. You put in the incredible amount of time no one would dare invest simply to complete one task.
Why? For the bragging rights, of course.
Achievements have evolved over the years, too. At first, they were pretty simple, "beat the level" or "beat the game", but now they range anywhere on the difficulty scale from hitting a single button, to playing Beethoven's 5th Symphony blindfolded while someone punches you in the back of the head.
It's the latter of the two that I'm focusing on, as thanks to a recent update on Xbox One, we can now see exactly how rare achievements are to unlock. No longer are we just saying "that's impossible," we know just how little of the gaming community were able to accomplish a certain achievement.
