15 Year Old Boy Nearly Dies After 4 Day Call of Duty Xbox Marathon

Who would have thought 96 hours of online warfare could be so bad for your health?

How many times have your parents told you to drag your stinking body away from your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 because you haven't seen natural light in hours and the only people you've spoken to are annoying little gamers via your online headset? If you're anything like us then the answer is probably "All the time". Well, it seems our parents know best especially after reports of a recent near fatality caused by spending too much time on an Xbox 360 hit the web a few hours ago. Apparently one teen in America managed to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on his Xbox for 4 straight days, not stopping to sleep or eat and taking only the quickest bathroom breaks imaginable in between rounds. Exactly where the kids parents were during this incident remains to be seen but none the less the lad - who has not been named presumably for fear of looking stupid - ended up in a heap on his bedroom floor unconscious from exhaustion. If only uncle Microsoft had been a better babysitter! After being taken into hospital the boy was diagnosed with fatigue and made a quick recovery. Reports that he was diagnosed with a severe case of Nintendo thumb are unfounded. However, it does explain why young kids are so much better than us old timers at games like Call of Duty if they have that much free time to dedicate to playing the game instead of having to go to work.
