2015's Assassin's Creed Isn't Called Victory Any More
Say hello to Assassin's Creed: Syndicate.
Last year when Assassin's Creed: Unity was doing the rounds and the upcoming Victory got leaked, everyone suitably face-palmed. Not only were Ubisoft struggling to get that particular year's instalment off the ground, but the next year's version was more than underway. Justifiably fans have been divided on whether they want 'yet another' iteration on the franchise at all - with more sidling towards the notion that Ubi really need to take some time off and come back with a downright fantastic sequel; as oppose to essentially another re-skin of the same base gameplay. However, although we thought that was all she wrote, just last week a teaser broke that began the official roll-out of information about what was assumedly Victory. However, now that Polygon have obtained information detailing otherwise; not only is Victory now called Syndicate, but our hero is confirmed as another man; Jacob Frye.
