7 Reasons Horizon Zero Dawn Is Better Than Uncharted 4
Naughty Dog were going to pass their torch someday.
The second a new exclusive drops, it shakes up the way we look at that console's library all over again. In the PS4's case, aside from Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank and Bloodborne, there haven't been any standout reasons to opt for the system overall. The Order: 1886? Knack? Even The Last Guardian failed to catch on with a wider audience despite being an incredibly cool game.
Indeed, it was starting to get pretty pitiful.
That was, until Nioh, NieR: Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn dropped within weeks of one another, the latter being not only one of the best games on the system, but of the generation overall. It's one HELL of a confident package from top to bottom, and I've put together an article highlighting all manner of positives, which are only offset by some minuscule negatives.
Yes, whilst Naughty Dog remain one of the most outstanding developers in the industry - a truly exemplary studio filled with some of the most talented people in gaming history - there's a mark of quality in Horizon's execution that beat-for-beat, results in a more fun and enjoyable game across the board than A Thief's End.
