7 Wii U Games We NEED On Nintendo Switch

They deserve an actual audience.

The Wii U was full of some of Nintendo's best games, which allowed you to go on epic adventures that only Nintendo could offer. Unfortunately though, nobody played these games.

Because of this, Nintendo are wisely porting the majority of the Wii U's library over to the far more successful Nintendo Switch. We've seen ports of some amazing games like Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, giving some amazing games a whole new lease of life.

Porting over games from the Wii U to the Switch has many advantages such as allowing a whole new audience to experience great titles and it is so much cheaper to make a port than a whole new game.

Unfortunately there are numerous games rotting away on the Wii U, that would make great additions to the Switch's library.

7. Super Mario 3D World

Super Mario 3D World was a charming little game on the Wii U that was overlooked by many for not being as ambitious or groundbreaking as Mario's other 3D adventures (it was also overlooked for being on the Wii U, but so was every game on this list).

Whilst it can't stand up against the likes of Super Mario 64 and its predecessor Super Mario Galaxy 2 it is a charming 3D platformer that blends the gameplay of a 3D Mario game really well with the gameplay of his 2D adventures.

It also introduced gamers to the gameplay that would be expanded into Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and allows you to play as both Princess Peach and Rosalina, so it can't be that bad.

Unfortunately, Nintendo may not want to port over Super Mario 3D World as there is already a 3D Mario game on the Switch with Super Mario Odyssey which is arguably better than Super Mario 3D World in every way. But Nintendo has had more than one 3D Mario game on a console before with the two Super Mario Galaxy games for the Wii so who knows?
