It was announced today that Alan Wake will be released on Steam February 16 for $29.99. This will include the game and the downloadable content packs; a boxed PC version of the game will hit retailers at a later date. The PC version of Alan Wake will contain high-res graphics and support for 3D. For those who don't know Alan Wake is a third person survival horror game made by the people at Remedy (the original makers of the Max Payne series). I loved Alan Wake, and for those of you who haven't played the game yet I would recommend picking it up on the PC or Xbox 360 if you have a chance. The only major issue I had with the game was the facial animations were pretty bad so it broke the immersion while the characters were talking. Other than that Alan Wake has one of the better stories in video games today, it is a little cliche' by horror standards but still very entertaining none the less.
