Assassin€™s Creed 3 will be available at the end of next month and as with many of the soon-to-be-released games, new information is being made public all the time. AC3 is one of the most anticipated games of the year and for good reason; Ubisoft have been working on it for three years, more than any edition since the original. So what do we know so far?

Characters

The takes place between 1753 and 1783 and focuses on the events of the American Revolution. You are Connor Kenway, who is half English and half Native-American. A tragedy befalls a young Connor and under the protection of the Mohawks he vows to protect the innocent and fight tyranny. Unlike the Ezio story this appears to be less a story of battling injustice instead of revenge and discovery. And let€™s not forget Desmond. The protagonist for the whole series, this is the final outing for this assassin. At the end of Revelations he located the underground temple, which the group hope will save the world from a devastating solar flare. According to the creators, players will spend more time as Desmond than they have in any of the previous games, although it has yet to be revealed how Connor€™s story memories play into this. The game introduces some of historical figures from that time. Ubisoft have admitted that Benjamin Franklin will not play the same role that Leonardo Di Vinci did in the Ezio series. Charles Lee has been confirmed although little has been revealed about his involvement. The other major character is George Washington and the relationship between the pair will heavily feature in the story. As I mentioned in a previous post, Washington featured in AC2 in a picture puzzle in which he was shown holding an Apple of Eden.
