Brock Lesnar in WWE 12 As Playable Legends Wrestler?

Here Comes The Pain to WWE 12 for the first time since 2004?

Despite being part of a different sport & direct rival to wrestling with UFC, former three time World Champion Brock Lesnar could be appearing in the upcoming WWE 12 video game as a playable character under the "Legends' wrestling category. PWInsider reports that Lesnar has been included at the 11th hour after talks between WWE, THQ and UFC proved successful, and he will be formally announced as a character in the game this week. It looks like THQ's working relationship on the upcoming Undisputed 3 helped to no end and UFC agreed to allow Lesnar to be used in the game as long as it as a 'wrestler' and not in an 'MMA capacity' and I guess their thinking is it can only enhance the profile of a star attraction. Paul Heyman is said to have helped broker the deal, Lesnar's first since leaving the company seven and a half years ago. Brock Lesnar hasn't appeared in the WWE since Wrestlemania XX when the wrestling fans in Madison Square Garden turned on him for leaving to another sport as Lesnar attempted to make it in the NFL. He failed and didn't make the cut and after wrestling in Japan for a few years he went to UFC in 2007. He hasn't returned to wrestling since, despite the WWE talking to him several times about potential one-off huge pay-off matches, mostly those surrounding Wrestlemania bouts. THQ have yet to confirm the story but have tantalising being hinted towards "big announcement" that is still to be unveiled for the game. And perhaps Lesnar's inclusion could pave the way for a match at Wrestlemania or somewhere else down the line eventually, though it's said he won't do any promotion for his WWE 12 appearance. WWE 12 is due for release on November 22nd for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.
