It has been a painful dry spell for many Cyberpunk fans with the last true gameplay footage releasing an agonising nine months ago. Among several delays, the only other information released recently has been gifs and images relating to vehicles and gangs within the game.

The lack of content compiled with the confirmation that heavy crunches are occurring at CD Projekt Red left the future of the game rather worrisome.

As a three-part episodic event, Night City Wire is an ongoing web series intended to be released every few weeks starting from now. During the event, we got to see a brand new trailer, some segments of gameplay, and a sneak peek at upcoming tie-in media. While the actual gameplay is relatively short, the update is full of small references to characters, gameplay features, the story, and much more.

6. Even More Customisation

Night City Wire is chock-full of blink and you'll miss it customisation clues.

We've seen the arm blades in previous videos but now we get a good look at embedded grenade launcher in V's arm as well. It will be interesting to see just how many gadgets V can keep up their sleeve.

Not only that but those lucky enough to get their hands on the 4-hour demo version of the game have also reported all of the currently available character creation options.

Those options include:

6 skin types, 35 hairstyles, 17 eyes, 8 eyebrows, 17 mouths, 17 jaws, 17 ears, 8 pieces of cyberware, 9 types of scars, 6 types of tattoos, 11 piercings, 5 types of teeth, 8 variations of eye make-up, 5 for lip make-up, 3 forms of blemishes, 3 nipple types, 5 body tattoos, 2 body scars, 2 penis types, 1 vagina type, 5 types of pubic hair and the option to change penis length.

While that does seem like a lot on paper there are several aspects lacking in the customisation department, specifically for those wanting to play a more feminine character. It is also unclear if these features can be altered more in-depth such as Red Dead Online's creator.
