The latest game from Quantic Dream is finally here after years of waiting, and it aims to deliver the best take on the company's choose-your-own-adventure gameplay.

It's no secret that both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls were divisive games that were really an acquired taste. Not unlike David Cage himself, the director of all three games.

Detroit follows the same gameplay and narrative path as its predecessors, but tries to make it more suited to a wider demographic. It's safe to say that if you hated Heavy Rain and Beyond, you probably won't like Detroit either, but it's definitely the most accessible game the company has made so far.

Even with all of the changes that Quantic Dream has made, Detroit really lives or dies by the theme of choice and how far it is taken. If it falls at that hurdle, it doesn't really have a leg to stand on.

With that in mind, let's take a look at everything that Detroit does right and wrong. Let's start with the bad news first.
