Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.3 Is Live In North America And Europe

Blizzard has released patch 1.0.3 for Diablo 3, and it is bringing a significant amount of changes that seem to be catering to newcomers.

Diablo 3, and it is bringing a large amount of changes that spread across all aspects of the game. These changes range from bosses, monsters, items, classes, and more. Inferno difficulty is now reducing the damage you take from monsters throughout Act II, III, and IV. In addition to the damage reduction, monsters in Hell and Inferno will no longer be guaranteed to drop two Magic items when murdered by your furious mouse clicking. Gamers will also be facing a decreased attack speed on bonus value attributes for weapons and armor by 50%. Items between the levels of 53 - 63 now have a significantly higher repair cost, so be even more careful in your solo Inferno playthroughs. Speaking of items, destructible objects no longer have a chance to drop items, only a small chance for dropping gold...yay. Blizzard has also implemented a change with the frequency in which high-end items (from level 61-63) drop in all Acts of Inferno, and Acts III and IV of Hell difficulty. Here's the breakdown below: Hell - Act III and Act IV iLvl 61: 9% iLvl 62: 1.9% iLvl 63: 0% Inferno - Act I iLvl 61: 17.7% iLvl 62: 7.9% iLvl 63: 2.0% Inferno - Act II iLvl 61: 18.6% iLvl 62: 12.4% iLvl 63: 4.1% Inferno - Act III and Act IV iLvl 61: 24.1% iLvl 62: 16.1% iLvl 63: 8.0% How do you all feel about the changes Blizzard is making?
