It should go without saying that E3 is a rather large deal. The focal point of games coverage for the entirety of June and the majority of both months either side, in recent years we've seen a rise in spoilers beforehand.

Thanks to online CVs, pictures taken on phones during meetings, entire message boards of "leaked info" being proven right when one official teaser lines up - it's a wonder there's anything left we don't already know about. Of course it's all part of the fun - and like theorising on the next Star Wars sequel or beloved TV show finale, confirmation of speculation can be just as enthralling as conjuring the ideas in the first place.

For E3 that means we'll have to wait until the weekend of June 9th when EA will be opening the show, as across both those days we've got Bethesda, Microsoft and Devolver Digital as a continual salvo. Monday/Tuesday will see Square Enix, Ubisoft and Sony, with Nintendo going last.

All will be filled with everything from confirmed likes of Death Stranding and Metroid Prime 4 to things we're dying to see more of like Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, but what else is on the docket you're not supposed to know about?
