Nintendo had a bizarre showing at this year's E3. We still have no official release date for the Wii U and few core titles were shown at their press conference. We still don't know how much third party support the Wii U will be getting. The only third party support that has been confirmed has been Ubisoft, which has been showcasing Assassins Creed 3 and Rayman Legends. Today however brings good news for Nintendo as EA has confirmed that it will make announcements regarding Wii U during an event next month. The company is having a EA Sports Open house, which will include the EA Sports announcements for the Wii U. EA confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be available for the Wii U, but the company hasn't showcased any EA hardware for Nintendo's next generation console. The EA Sports Open House will show FIFA 13, Madden NFL 13, NHL 13 and NBA Live 13. Nintendo President of America, Reggie Fils-Amie recently commented on the Wii U's third party support. "I wouldn't take the fact that things haven't been announced yet as a signal that it's not happening Said Reggie. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18th and Thursday, July 19th.
