The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Awesome Locations That Could Be Used

Is there anywhere out there better than Skyrim?

By Alex Davis /

With all the talk about Elder Scrolls VI on the horizon, what possible locations would make a great setting for the next instalment in Tamriel's universe? Any fan of the Elder Scrolls games understands the breadth and vastness of Tamriel, as well as hearing a few things about each of its provinces, whether through in-game lore books, conversations with NPCs, or the immortally informative Elder Scrolls Wiki page. Adventurers have been to Morrowind, Cyrodill, Skyrim, and parts of Hammerfell and High Rock - so far, anyway. Rumours have been circulating that the title will be Argonia, positioning the game's setting in Black Marsh, the swampy homeland of the Argonians. But you have to remember that this is speculation for now. While a release date next year follows a similar timeline to previous Elder Scrolls title, this What Culture article helps to remind that "anything€™s up for grabs." With these wise words in mind, why not speculate about where the new game could take place? There are so many possibilities, and as fans know, Bethesda are a company that prides itself on possibilities. Will it truly be a new location? Perhaps we will revisit an old world that has been completely changed on a new game engine. Maybe there will be a combination of old and new? The technology is there for such a possibility after all. While we eagerly await some sort of official announcement from Bethesda, let's have some fun and discuss 10 possible locations for the next Elder Scrolls Game. Hopefully you've brushed up on your Tamrielic lore.
