FIFA 14: 9 Ratings EA Have Got Horribly Wrong

By Joseph Dempsey /

a new trailer was released for the popular football simulation game, as we enter the last furlong before its release. And, in a little over two days, EA are set to release the official demo (Tuesday 10) giving fans a first taste of the action. As if that wasn't enough, EA have ramped up anticipation for FIFA 14 even further by unveiling a list of the highest-rated players in-game. A list of the top 50 players has appeared online and it's fair to say there are a few surprises here and there. One thing that won't surprise you is that the list consists predominantly of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich players, while Lionel Messi is No.1 with a rating of 94. But how do the Premier League teams fare? Chelsea have four players in the top 50, Arsenal have two players making up the elite shortlist, and Manchester City have five stars rubbing shoulders with the greats. As always, these ratings will become a bone of contention among fans, and here, we take a look at 9 ratings we feel EA got horribly wrong.
