EA Sports have this morning unveiled a brand new Gameplay Trailer for this year's addition to the sprawling behemoth that is the FIFA franchise, and the impetus is firmly on the developer's intention to make FIFA 14 the most realistic football experience ever released. It's a bold claim, and one that tends to appear every time there's a new football title coming to shelves, but from the look of the trailer - which seems to feature less gameplay and more cinematics than might have been initially expected from the billing - they've made some serious developments to dribbling and shielding that will make it a more authentic experience... It all looks good - as ever - and the brand new Ignite engine has certainly offered the game even more gloss. It definitely looks like we're once more looking at evolution rather than revolution, but we can expect EA Sports to have spent the past year of development honing the kind of intricate features that continues to make them top of the pile for the genre. EA Sports have promised development in three key areas - Precision Movement, Pure Shots and Physical Play, with their eye firmly on making the gameplay experience more like the real beautiful game, and if their claims of realism are as good as we hope, we're looking at an even better experience than last year's FIFA. FIFA 14 is out on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on 24th September 2013 in North America and 27th September in Europe.
