Final Fantasy 7 Remake: 14 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
Make sure Cloud, Aerith and Tifa look their best.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is easily the best-received Final Fantasy since the original golden trilogy, and while that's not knocking the highs of FF X, XII, XIV or XV, it makes so many confident strides in gameplay and mechanics, I'll be amazed if we go backwards.
Instead, FF7R's genuinely incredible weapon and levelling system shows Square Enix are the true masters of the RPG. Its system is built around "weapon cores", encouraging you to experiment with each weapon, learning moves on the character side and completing a pool of abilities for each individual over time.
Alongside this, you've got a game that confidently re-approaches a 20 year-old fiction from a youthful perspective. There are new characters, a more fleshed out script, TONS of new gameplay opportunities and an ending that'll blow everyone's minds, newcomers and fan alike.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is a phenomenal adventure loaded with high points and memorable scenes, but it also has a depth to gameplay and customisation that you've likely missed out on.
