Epic Games will release Gears of War 3 this September and the big question is what will their next project be? Well today we have an answer, sort of. According to Epic's President Mike Capps the company has five new games they are working on. All are in different stages of development and no titles were named; however he did confirm all five or them have nothing to do with the Gears of War series. In addition, Mike Capps also mentioned that the focus of these games will be on the PC and not home consoles. Whether or not these games end up getting ported over to consoles was not mentioned. Chances are not all five of these games will get made; but the biggest news to come out of this interview is Epic seems to have moved on from the Gears of War franchise. You could also say after this interview and the news today that Shadow Complex 2 was cancelled for an iPhone game, that Epic Games is moving away from the console market and going back to where they started the PC. Is this something you are happy to hear about or do you prefer to play your games on a console?
