Goldberg Talks WWE 2K17
Big Bad Bill talks video games, dream opponents and more.
So the #Hatch hatched, and behind it stood none other than a computer game version of Bill Goldberg, he of 173-0 WCW streak fame and the face of the forthcoming WWE 2K17 video game. Goldberg has been announced a pre-order bonus for excitable fans, and will be a playable character within the game itself.
As such we can expect a mass of media regarding the game in the build up to its October 25th release, and Goldberg himself has already been talking to IGN Entertainment about it. Ol' Willy G ticked all the right boxes in the process, stating that it is an honour that is hard to put into words, considering the footsteps of those he is following.
Goldberg went on to talk about dream opponents and those he feels would have a chance against him, with only Brock Lesnar getting put in the latter bracket. The Undertaker came up, but Goldberg feels that his chances are getting slimmer with every passing year of Taker's life. Time catches up with all men after all, including the dead. Bill was also asked what matches he'd like to recreate, and he answered by stating his bout with Diamond Dallas Page at Halloween Havoc is up there, a match he considers his best.
Expect a whole lot more from Big Bad Bill in the build up to the release of the game. Worry not, you are one step closer to that golden bout, Goldberg vs. Goldust!
