House Of The Dead 4 Returns To PSN This April

Seven years after its original release, the arcade classic is getting a fresh breath of life blown through its shambling corpse.

Way back in 2005 Sega released their fourth entry in the popular light gun series House Of The Dead. Now, seven years later the arcade classic is getting a fresh breath of life blown through its shambling corpse. On April 18th, House Of The Dead 4 will be available to download on the Playstation Network. The rail shooter will put you back a cool £6.49. However this re-release on the PS3 will have a few extra treats than the standard arcade version. The game will feature PS Move support, which is only natural for a title like this. Along with this trophies will of course be available to earn, additional levels from House Of The Dead 4 Special, an interview with the game's creator and a bonus unlockable PS Home item, for anyone who still uses the social hub. What's more is PS Plus members will get a 30% discount on the title running from its April 18th release date until May 3rd, along with 4 exclusive PSN avatars. The series as a whole has seen a resurgence on the Playstation 3, as HOTD 4 will be joining the House of the Dead 3 re-release that happened back in February, and the grindhouse-like House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut that arrived on the system in October. This is one house party you'll definitely want to crash.
