Injustice 2 is finally here, and though NetherRealm Studios have taken the controversial route of slapping their much-anticipated superhero fighter with a day-one review embargo, there ultimately doesn't appear to be any outwardly malicious motive at play, as the game has come out of the gate with almost universal critical acclaim. An improvement over the rock solid original, then? It seems so.
In short, if you enjoyed the first game, this sequel is a winning slam-dunk of a proposition, and simply, if you're a fan of fighting games and were perhaps left disappointed by last year's piecemeal Street Fighter V, here's an uproarious invitation back to the genre.
