Resistance 3 was one of the best reviewed shooters of last year however, it looks like we will not be seeing any more games from the franchise for a while. Speaking at a Southern Methodist University€™s Game::Business::Law Summit, Insomniac CEO Ted Price stated that: €œWe won€™t be making any more Resistances€. This doesn't mean we will never see another Resistance game; a lot of times the franchise gets passed off to a different developer, so there is still a chance that sometime in the future another title will made but from a different developer. Unfortunately, it may not be for a while considering sales for Resistance 3 were less than great to say the least. Right now Insomniac is developing Overstrike, a squad based shooter; not much is known about the game other than what was seen in the first trailer. This will also be the first time Insomniac has developed for multiple platforms, so Xbox 360 users will finally get a chance to play an Insomniac developed game. Here is the Overstrike trailer for those who haven't seen it: http://youtu.be/kltLI5oL22k
